GSEZ and Ethiopian Customs Commission

The Gada Special Economic Zone Development Corporation (GSEZDC) held a consultative meeting with the Ethiopian Customs Commission to discuss the establishment of a One-Stop Shop (OSS) service within the GSEZDC. H.E. Mr. Debele Kabeta, Commissioner of the Customs Commission, welcomed the GSEZDC delegation at the commission’s headquarters. Mr. Motuma Temesgen, CEO of GSEZDC, mentioned rationales of the GSEZ establishment; while, Mr. Getachew Girma from the OSS department provided overview of the establishment of the GSEZ. The discussions centered on potential collaboration in implementing an efficient OSS service within the economic zone. Commissioner Debele Kabeta offered detailed insights and identified key areas for cooperation, enabling the delegates to gain valuable perspectives on the next steps for operationalizing the initiative.
